Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 24, 2026Last Updated: May 24, 2026

Arizona Football Network (“AZFN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve written it in plain language because we believe a privacy policy should be something you can actually read.

If you have questions, contact us at info@arizonafootball.net or (602) 341-5855.

1. Who We Are

Arizona Football Network is a sports information platform that serves Arizona’s football community through a searchable directory, original content, an events calendar, and related media. The site is operated by Arizona Football Network from Arizona, USA.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

Name, email address and any other contact details you provide when you sign up for our newsletter, claim or submit a directory listing, submit an event, send a message through our contact form, or otherwise interact with the site.

Information you choose to include in a directory listing (team or organization name, location, contact info, logo, photos, descriptions, website links, social media handles).

Payment information if and when paid subscription tiers go live. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card details on our servers.

Any content you submit, such as comments, event details, photos, or feedback.

Information collected automatically:

Basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4).

Information from third parties:

If you connect through a social media platform or sign in using a third-party service, we may receive limited information from that service consistent with your settings there.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website and its features.
  • Send the newsletter and respond to messages or inquiries you send us.
  • Display directory listings and event information as part of the platform.
  • Process subscriptions and other transactions (when applicable).
  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and features.
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site running smoothly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect aggregated, anonymized data about site traffic and user behavior. This helps us improve the platform. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Most browsers allow you to control or disable cookies through your settings. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site function.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

To run the platform, we rely on trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy practices:

  • Hosting and website infrastructure (e.g., WordPress, our hosting provider)
  • Email and newsletter delivery (Mailchimp)
  • Analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Payment processing (when paid tiers are active)
  • Embedded content from platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and social media networks

When you interact with embedded content (for example, watching a YouTube video on our site), that third party may collect data about you under their own privacy policy.

6. How We Share Your Information

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the site (hosting, email, analytics, payment processing), under agreements that require them to protect your data.
  • In directory listings, where the information you submit is intended to be public.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of AZFN, our users, or the public.
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case users would be notified.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

7. Children’s Privacy

AZFN covers football at every level, including youth football. However, our website is intended for use by adults (parents, coaches, organizers, vendors, and others) and not by children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Directory listings, accounts, and submissions should be created and managed by adults (such as parents, guardians, coaches, or organization representatives).

If a youth athlete is referenced in directory or media content, that information should be submitted by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us directly, please contact us at info@arizonafootball.net and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Update or remove your directory listing by contacting us.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing info@arizonafootball.net. We’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Opt out of analytics as described in Section 4.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act). Contact us to exercise those rights.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including SSL/HTTPS encryption, managed hosting, and security plugins. No system is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify affected users as required by law.

10. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as it’s needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

11. Links to Other Sites

Our site links to many third-party websites, including team pages, league sites, vendor sites, and partner content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a banner on the site or an email to newsletter subscribers).
